Grape Soda Cart Indica

Faster than most edibles. Nanoemulsified drinks break THC into microscopic droplets that absorb partly through the mouth and stomach lining, so onset is often fifteen to thirty minutes rather than an hour or more. That quicker feedback makes them easier to dose deliberately, but it also means you should still give it a full hour before considering a second can.

Most cannabis drinks are sold at two, five or ten milligrams per container. Two to five milligrams is a comfortable social starting point for someone who is not a regular edible consumer. If a can is ten milligrams and you want to go low, pour half and refrigerate the rest — sealed properly, an opened drink keeps for a day or two.

It is not a good idea, especially if you are new to either. Alcohol increases THC absorption, and the combination frequently produces dizziness and nausea that neither would cause alone. If you want to alternate socially, keep the doses very low and leave real time between them, and always have water and food available.

Most modern beverages do not. Emulsion technology has improved to the point where seltzers, tonics and sodas taste like the flavor on the can rather than like plant matter. Some full-spectrum drinks intentionally keep a hint of terpene character, which reads as herbal or citrusy rather than grassy. The label will usually tell you which approach the producer took.
